AWARE2 is camera which takes pictures with a resolution of up to 50 gigapixeli (MP 50.000). AWARE2 was designed and built by engineers of Duke University in North Carolina, USA.
AWARE2 combines 98 smaller cameras. AWARE2 camera will be used for military purposes in the U.S..
Each of the 98 microcameras captures a small portion of the image and through a special computer software a full picture is created. AWARE2 can take pictures of places that no man sees.
